About Luc Buijsrogge

I studied photography at the Municipal Art Academy in Sint-Niklaas. In those days I was a fan of Henri Cartier Bresson and Richard Avadon and you can definitely say that my work was certainly in Avadon's style.

Initially I mainly photographed everyday (lookbook) fashion, but this soon changed towards editorial fashion.

Now I largely make what they call editorial avant-garde fashion.

I like to work in a team, where I usually work with the same people. This way my make up artist, hair stylist and models know exactly what I want and I understand that they are better than me at what they do.
